Ideas for rooms in my Minecraft mansion
Ideas for rooms in my Minecraft mansion
I need some suggestions for rooms in my Minecraft mansion on my Single Player world. Any suggestions are gratefully accepted regardless if I use them or not.
The rooms I have in my mansion so far are:
Furnace Room,
Crafting Room,
Bedroom,
Mining Shaft,
Storage Room,
and I'm also considering making a Minecraft update room for all the new stuff that comes in the latest patch.
I am only making Minecraft themed rooms (For example, A Cake Room or a Furnace Room)

A study with pine wood walls. Pool room. Farming room. just some ideas that came to my mind.

A cobblestone generator room and an obsidian generator room.
A room of riches, showing off some of the more valuable blocks you have e.g. iron and gold.
A hall of mechanical devices, demonstrating various uses of redstone such as double doors and simple tunes, along with a minecart system display.
A portal room...be creative, perhaps use four portals to create a hidden mini-room?

How about a nice garden? Have some indoor grass, flowers and sugar cane next to a pond, wall it in though because friendly mobs will spawn.

How about a 'garden shed'? A catwalk attached to a cobblestone wall, which leads to a mob trap. This way, you could stay in the house forever if you wanted, but theres nothing like exploring!

Make a nice living room!
Make chairs using signs and stairs put some bookshelves here and there a couple windows, and if your up for it you can edit your texture pack files to make beds look like coffee tables and use them as tables in between the chairs, if you want to keep you beds looking like beds then you can make them look like tables with sheets over them so they can be used both ways. The painterly pack has options to make beds look like tables if you don't want to edit you files your self.

Make a nice cool living room with a tv a couch and a stove next to the couch it will be cool .

Oh and also it will be cool if u add a lever with a sign above it: Lights on: and make a redstone curcuit that activates some redstone torches .

I also like to make a room full of explosives! Just for the heck of it. (back up your save) Just don't let creepers in that blow up or you won't have a mansion!

A safety room that you use if hostile mobs decided to break into and invade your mansion (an open door or a creeper explosion). It could have chests with building materials, tools, weapons, and armor. It could also have a bed and underground tunnels that lead to other parts of the mansion.

u need a kitchen, and a porch and patio, and a basement. hmmm, u can hve some secret rooms, and a garden room, tons of rooms, but pretty cool

make this room like a challange for yourself:
make a room and put really every block you can get legit in minecraft inside that room.
also make a chest in that room where you put al the items you can get legit in minecraft.
