I remember my first time playing minecraft. I'd never really played a sandbox game before and it was a whole new and exiting world to me!
The first time I played minecraft I drowned within 2 minutes of starting, I then died of falling damage twice, then a creeper blew me up, at this point I was in love with the game.
I was dead within 5 minutes whenever i spawned so i decided that it was good to stay away from mobs which later showed me that its funner to kill them.
i also learnt that you could puch items after i failed miserably at constantlyleft-clicking and never evengetting dirt
My first time playing was about 13 months ago. I watched tons of Minecraft videos before i bought it. Started punching wood, as i had seen in the videos and then made a workbench and crafted all the necessary tools. Dug up a lot of dirt and made a first house, out of dirt. Man, i miss those times. It was hard back then. Now when you're kinda good at the game it's almost too easy. Though, i will never abandon Minecraft.
When I first started, I struggled to get a 3x3x3 wood plank shelter up before nightfall. After I got that done (on the second day) I had to idea where to go from there

I haven't been playing that long so remembering isn't that hard. I remember not having a shelter on the first night and a creeper crept up on me without me noticing until it was far too late. xD
I only just got this game about 3 weeks ago so its not hard for me to remember either, lol. A lot of clearing grass and looking for trees. Then I'd dig a hole at night and place dirt on top of me so I wouldn't die.
the first time i played minecraft, i spawned in a hole and couldn't get out!
The first time i played Minecraft, i turned it on the hardest difficulty and made a wooden house, first time i did not know how to make a door so my safe and nice house had no door, 2 Zombies came in and destroyed me.
I'll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it's sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot.
Yeah, I remember. Good old alpha. I was lost and didn't know what to do, so I went to Minecraft.net and watched the tutorial video made by PaulSoaresJr.
I still have my first world, to go into it and look at my noobish building skills.
By the way, xxNimrodxx has a really nice avatar.

When Minecraft was in beta I looked at it but didn't get the whole sandbox thing. About 3 months ago I came across Paul Soares, Jr's "Survive and Thrive" videos on Youtube. Then I finally understood the Survival aspect of the game, and then the sandbox part too. I've built an off-shore mining platform now (found this by swimming up a water fall and ended up in the ocean) and just started a branch mining operation. Oh, I only started playing about a month ago and am seriously addicted. I'm about ready to by the Minecraft app for my android phone
I loved minecraft from the beginning. Building huge structures that looked cool was fun and collecting resoures while fighting monsters.
sadly... i don't remember when i first played... all i know is that i joined in beta 1.4 and i got it like the next day!
I don't normally play Video Games... but when i do, i prefer Minecraft. Stay entertained my friends.
Yes i died alot because i was not good at it
